We are downsizing & my daughter is going into a very small bedroom. What suggestions to you have for a teenage girl's small space? Storage will be an issue! Any style solutions and suggestions would be appreciated!

When downsizing, people are often left with all of the items they had before they scaled back, and far less space to put them in. One great solution is vertical storage. Teenagers often need storage for books, stereos, CDs, and the like, which can easily go in bookcases or other vertical shelving. For delicate belongings or collectibles, a curio or étagère are wonderful options. Storage beds, which are available in several of our groups, are also a great way to discretely store items such as clothing and shoes without taking up more space in the room. Get creative with the highest and least accessed parts of the closet as well. Large suitcases can be placed up and out of reach, and packed with other bulky items such as blankets, sweaters, or off-season items. Best of luck to your family!
