Icy Weather

An ice storm that hit Oklahoma has killed 12 and left 600,000 homes and businesses in the dark and many without heat. Tonight, "Nightline" has a behind-the-scenes look at the Oklahoma Emergency Center as they rush to distribute water, generators, ready to eat meals, cots and blankets to those most in need.

ABCNews' Steve Osunsami reports from Oklahoma City, OK with the latest.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the United States

Every week, the White House sends out "The Week Ahead," a schedule of the president's week, which is full of domestic and foreign policy meetings, summits, press-ops and dinners with heads of state. Today, chief White House correspondent Martha Raddatz gets a glimpse behind the scenes with President Bush, sitting in on a daily meeting with his national security team, a meeting on teen drug use, and a photo-op with the president of Italy in the Oval Office. Bush ends his day with a holiday soiree.

ABCNews' Martha Raddatz is there and reports from the White House.

The Lost Herd

Some of those coffee beans that make your morning cup of Joe come from the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park in southern Sumatra, an ideal habitat for the endangered Asian elephant. The "lost herd" used to consist of 60 elephants, but a shrinking wilderness has drastically reduced the herd's numbers to four.

ABCNews' Nick Watt reports from Sumatra on how the World Wildlife Foundation is using trained elephants to try to save the lost herd. Read the story here, and check out some of the pictures he brought back with him by clicking here.
