In his first career start, junior guard Rene Rougeau had 19 points, five rebounds and five steals to spark UNLV to an 84-71 victory over Fresno State on Saturday night.

Joe Darger finished with 17 points, Curtis Terry scored 15 and Wink Adams 14 and for the Rebels, who improved to 7-2 before a crowd of 4,924 at the Orleans Arena.

UNLV has a 10-day break before hosting Arizona on Dec. 19.
