Inside a Troubled Mind

Police say Robert Hawkins killed eight people before killing himself at a mall in suburban Omaha, Neb., yesterday, but what could cause a 19 year old to do such a thing?

Today, a Nebraska Health and Human Services official said that in March 2002 Hawkins made homicidal threats toward his mother. He was also diagnosed with ADD, oppositional defiance disorder and parent-child relational problems.

Tonight, "Nightline" sits down with the principal of Hawkins' former high school, his landlady and his friends..

Faith and Politics

Amid rising attention about how his Mormon faith would affect his presidency, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke in Texas today, saying that his actions as president would not be controlled by his church.

Romeny's candidacy is focusing attention on this largely unknown religion that has many skeptics in America. ABC News' Dan Harris reports from Manti, Utah, where he speaks with Keith Walker, an evangelical Christian, who is on a mission to convert Mormons.

Ugly Models

For most people, a model means someone who is tall, skinny and strikingly beautiful. But Simon Rogers is looking for a different type of model for his new New York agency Ugly New York Talent. According to Rogers, "It's not like I'm tired of looking at really superattractive people ... I just need a little more."

ABCNews' John Berman reports from New York. We hope you'll join us.
