As part of the Climate Watch season, the second documentary from Sir David Attenborough - Can We Save P***t Earth? - looks ahead to the worldwide impact of climate change on current and future generations. He also investigates what can be done to save the p***t from these dramatic changes. In the programme, Princeton University climate scientist Stephen Pacala discusses his belief that the effects of rising CO2 levels could be catastrophic, resulting in the loss of entire ecosystems, such as the Arctic.

Returning for a fifth series, BBC World's acclaimed health and medical strand Kill or Cure? continues to look at the challenges affecting vaccination and immunisation. This week it looks at the infamous drug Thalidomide. The drug is renowned for the effect it had 30 years ago when it was given to pregnant mothers to cure nausea and morning sickness, but instead caused children to be born with disabilities. Today, Thalidomide is acquiring a different reputation and Kill or Cure? investigates its new success as a weapon against blood cancer.

The twice-weekly show fronted by BBC Sports presenter Adnan Nawaz features regular cricket fans and armchair commentators from across the world giving their views about the tournament, games, teams and players via webcam and email. This week Adnan takes a look at how the Americans are teaching the Chinese to play cricket. Plus he takes on Kiwi fast bowler Shane Bond (pictured). Also, with Sri Lanka continuing to be the netural's favourites, Adnan celebrates super spinner Muttiah Muralitharan's birthday.

The first edition looks at the challenges facing East Africa in relation to drought and its impact on agriculture and livelihood.
