| Employee and Teacher of the year 2007 |

Each year at a private celebration we have a teacher and a Employee of the year award.
This year I decided that the best place to present these awards was at our Christmas party.
This was a surprise to everyone as I had not told a soul, because of my big secret I was on my own with no assistant. No one ready to take awesome photos.
I did notice that there were cameras flashing good on you! We can always count on the scrapbooker. I would love a copy of the photos you have taken so please burn them to a disc and I will give you a replacement disc. |

| Teacher of the year |
|
This award is voted on by all members of staff.
This year Sharon Maasland won teacher of the year and I was thrilled as I said last night. Sharon is the quiet wheel in our family, I never hear a peep her classes are always full, she is always organised, has all product available and if not is very quick to make a substitute. Sharon calls it as she sees and this is and attribute that people adore. If you want the honest no bull about it answer ask Sharon.
We are privileged to have Sharon as a member of our family for over 4 years now and we look forward to the next 20.

| Employee of the Year |
|
This is an award that is chosen by me and every year I struggle with this decision.
Everyone plays a pivotal role in the store and we would not be the team we are without each and everyone who works here.
This year the Employee of the year is Susanne Beckham.
As most of you know Sue is the teacher and events coordinator, this role is carried out to perfection and nothing is ever too much. If you have attended events in the store or the weekend away I am sure you would agree that they are fantastic.
I have had a busy year this year with the death of Paul's father we found ourselves moving house at the beginning of the year and then back again half way through the year, I have been studying full time and have had months where I have said to Sue "I'm checking out for a while" and when I do she just steps in and takes over. Of course not without the help of our awesome family of staff.
I am grateful for everyone who works here I am blessed to have them in my life.
