The housing market crisis is ripping through the town of Fairfield, Calif. It's so bad that even plumbers are being laid off. And in the past three months, there were no building permit requests for single family homes -- something that hasn't happened in 30 years.
ABC News' Laura Marquez reports from California.
Craig Venter
Scientist Craig Venter is best known for his company that mapped the human genome. He's also the first person to map his own genome. Now Venter is on to his next venture -- creating the first artificial life form that exists off of consumed human waste. Its purpose? To fuel and clean the p***t. But is this type of innovation opening up Pandora's box?
"Nightline" co-anchor Terry Moran reports.
Body Branding
Tattoos used to be a cutting edge way to express yourself, but for some, tattooing has become too commonplace, and so they are turning to branding, a practice usually associated with livestock. Just take a look at YouTube where you can find video of kids branding themselves at home. ABC News' Clarissa Ward visits a tattoo parlor in Manchester, England, where they use branding irons that can get as hot as 1,000 degrees.
We hope you'll join us.
