Nearly 50 nations sent representatives to the conference held yesterday in Annapolis, Md., to discuss a two-state solution to the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert agreed Tuesday to begin peace talks next month in hopes of establishing an accord before the end of 2008. Today Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice sits down with "Nightline" co-anchor Cynthia McFadden to talk about the implications of their negotiations.
Presidential Debate
The eight candidates vying for the Republican presidential nomination gather this evening in St. Petersburg, Fla., for the CNN/YouTube debate. It's the first time in more than a month that all have gathered together to talk about the issues.
ABC's Jake Tapper reports.
