This week at the San Diego Civic Theatre, experience two visitors from the world of dance with "The Lord of the Dance" (Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30pm) and "Tango Buenos Aires" (Friday at 8pm).

More than 50 million people worldwide have seen LORD OF THE DANCE--the international Irish extravaganza which has performed in more than 67 countries. Their 10th Anniversary Tour features the one billionth tap by a dancer in the cast. Superbly choreographed precision-dancers, intimidating set design and the visual complexity of the dance, has created thousands of loyal followers to this Michael Flatley designed & choreographed production (Mr. Flatley does not perform in this production.) Strobe lights and open flame will be used during production.

Direct from Argentina and one of the country's great cultural exports, known throughout the Americas, Europe and the Far East as the most authentic and uncompromising representative of Tango. Creator, Producer and Artistic Director Rosario Bauza, Music Director Julian Vat and Choreographer Lidia Segni have created a show which will take you along on the sensual journey of Tango from it's start in the streets of Buenos Aires to the ballroom as the 25-member company performs "The Four Seasons."
