The dead have been buried, most of those arrested have been released and the blood and the debris have been cleaned away. Yet more than a hundred remain behind bars and the people of Burma are angry that the international community has given them so little support. Going undercover in Burma, the BBC's World Affairs correspondent Sue Lloyd-Roberts discovers that the appetite for protest is still strong.

In Nepal a nine-year-old girl, who is worshipped as a goddess, is playing a significant symbolic role in the power struggle between politicians and the monarchy. For 240 years since they conquered and united the country of Nepal, the Kings of the Shah dynasty have sought the Royal Kumari's blessing to rule. However, Nepal is changing and elections are planned. World Uncovered explores the tough choices ahead, and how Nepal will modernise without destroying the beauty of its traditions.

This week Have Your Say focuses on the Arab-Israeli peace talks, to be hosted by President Bush at Annapolis, USA, and what can be achieved. Around 40 countries have been invited to attend, however Hamas, which controls Gaza, has not been asked. Presented by Bridget Kendall, the main guest will be Alvaro de Soto, the former UN special co-ordinator for the Middle East peace process. Contributions will also be made by Palestinian Legislative Council member, Hanan Ashrawi and Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mark Regev.
