Dear Friends,

It’s November, Thanksgiving almost here, and we’re all getting ready to overeat.

Okay, some of you will be good and eat only one piece of pie, but in my family, the phrase is, "I’ll have a sliver of each." In fact, right now, we’re having serious discussions about what kind of pies to make. Pumpkin, of course, but we’re torn between apple/cranberry and lemon meringue, and there’s a good possibility we’ll have all three. With homemade crust. And whipped cream.

Oh. Sorry. I love to cook and I love good food, and I get carried away when I talk about that holy grail of family and eating, Thanksgiving. I hope all you have a wonderful day!

Now, here’s the scoop.

In 2008, I’m going to do a mailing or two (probably postcards or bookmarks). If you’d like to be included, I’ll need your snail mail address. Your personal information is safe with me and for my own use. I will not pass it on or sell it. If you’d like to receive a postcard or bookmark or excerpt, send your name, address and zip to lee@christinadodd.com.

I have put up pages on Facebook and MySpace. Go over and take a look!

And finally, after much nagging from you, I’ve updated my photo page with pictures of the new bookshelves in my office. If you’re a book enthusiast (and who in this group isn’t?), you’ll love them. Plus, there’s a special surprise at the bottom of the page.

That’s it for now. We will chat in December again, when I’ll fill you in with the details of a special reprint of one of my earliest and long-out-of-print historicals. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Warmly,

Christina Dodd
