Happy Fall!
Wow, every time I think my life is going to calm down a bit, things go into overdrive. I have been super busy moving web servers, taking research trips and trying to get the forum and mail software upgraded. Most wine writers just write about wine; I also maintain all the actual hardware and software I work with, and code and design my websites. I just need another 10 hours a day!

Our most recent trip was to Arizona/Utah/New Mexico/Colorado which was great - we saw the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde as well as giant cactii - but we didn't get to any wineries. I was researching Native American traditions on that trip, not grapes :) I do have it on my list to visit and photograph a few wineries around New England in the coming month or two.

I now have photos for pretty much every Champagne cocktail on my 60+ listing now, which was challenging :) Some of those ingredients are rather rare! Please let me know if you have any additions I should make!

Jeez Louise, you'd think I was hunting down the Loch Ness Monster! I *love* plastic ice cubes because they keep your drink (including wine!!) at the right temperature without diluting it. For some reason the companies keep discontinuing them! I found two models for you, including light-up ones!

Random Thoughts
I really am very behind in life :) I have to get all my Four Corners photos up onto the Lisa Shea site, and have over 1,000 messages in my to-do folders. Even worse, though, is that I have dandelion wine that has been sitting in a carboy since **April** that we haven't racked yet :) That might get done this weekend. Maybe.

But unfortunately (or fortunately I suppose) I still have these plans to hit every US state, and Hawaii is looming. I've already had USAir cause all sorts of issues with my frequent flier miles and at this point want to use them before the company cancels the program. Are there any wineries in Hawaii?

One recent project I *did* finish was getting all my origami pages updated. Yes, it's not wine related, but with that off my list, it means I can finally get around writing up my visit with Maximilian Riedel. Which was back in ... May? Yes, I'm behind :) But here's my origami!
