Getting the Help You Need!

I've been told that it is easy to navigate my site. However, some students want to find things *really fast*. Accordingly, I am summarizing my resources for students below, including tips for using them.

  1. Students can get math help online with our interactive lessons, worksheets and puzzles, accessible by topic from this page.
  2. If you want help with specific math homework problems, go to my Homework Help Forums. (Note that registration in my forums is a 3-step process. I approve each registration on a case-by-case basis. These security measures are taken to protect the privacy of all forum members including you.) Be sure to read our Rules for Posting.
  3. If you need in-depth tutoring services, visit this page.
  4. Articles on study skills and test-taking can be found here.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conference time is approaching. Find 27 Tips for Parent Conferences and other articles at this page.

Newsletter News

On October 24th, I sent some of you a special message from a colleague of mine. Unfortunately, his math tutoring site was unreachable. If you are interested in the message from Click and Climb, please visit this page.

Teaching Tips and Ideas

Do you want to motivate your students when presenting a new topic? Just present a problem that requires a new skill or procedure in order to solve it. Thus you have facilitated the need to learn that topic. This technique is used in the following lessons:

  1. Order of Operations
  2. Introduction to Integers
  3. Exponents

10th Anniversary

In honor of Math Goodies' 10th anniversary, I've had a new Math Goodies T-Shirt made up by my friend Peb, as well as a mousepad, and other gift items. You can see these items in her Cafe Press Gift Shop.
