"What the heck... I'll give it a try!"

"I have to say I'm so glad I purchased your DebtIntoWealth
System! I was skeptical at first, so I went to the website.
It sounded good, so I figured "what the heck," I'll give it
a try. My goal was to pay off $5000 in credit card debt and
a car loan so I could buy a new home, and get me and my 4
girls out of our 2 bedroom apartment. It worked! It's now 9
months later and ALL of my debt is paid off, and I just
signed a contract on a new 5 bedroom house! There is no
better feeling than to have NO debts, and a savings account
too! Thanks to your system, my family is going to have a
better life by not being enslaved to debt."

Thanksgiving Checklist by Leanne Ely, C.N.C.

Believe it or not, in less than a month it will be time to carve another
turkey and to give thanks for all our blessings. That’s right,
Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

If you’re ready for Halloween and have your candy already purchased
(here’s a helpful Body Clutter hint—buy candy you don’t like, then you
won’t eat it!), then you’re ready to start planning for Thanksgiving. If
you want a little help, our Thanksgiving Menu-Mailer is just the ticket
and available to you at no charge. Our planner contains the menu, recipes,
shopping lists, decorating ideas and timeline that has been used by
hundreds of flybabies every year:
http://www.savingdinner.com/mail/books/saving_dinner_for_the_holidays.html

And here’s a few more things to help you FLY through Thanksgiving--

1) Guest List. Make your list; check it twice and start making those
all-important phone calls. Knowing how many to plan for is an integral
part of successful holiday planning.

2) The Menu. Do you know what you’re having besides turkey? Make your menu
and appropriate grocery list and get everything purchased except the
perishables. If you have stuff that might get mistakenly eaten before the
big day, put it in a box and stash it in the linen closet or label it
instructing your loved ones to stay far, far away from this Thanksgiving
food item.

3) The Turkey. If you’re going to order a fresh one, do it now and make
sure you get a confirmation number (put the confirmation number on your
calendar or checklist). If you’re buying frozen and have the room, go
ahead and purchase it now.

4) Serving Pieces. Do you have everything you need? Platters, serving
utensils, extra plates, napkins, etc.? Buy what you need or make phone
calls to borrow and pick them up as soon as possible.

5) Linen Check. Pull out your tablecloth and napkins. Are they clean, are
they pressed? If not, do them now then hang them up on hangers and put
them in your hall closet (or wherever you can hang them). Doing them the
night before or the day of will exhaust you! There’s way too much to do on
those two days.

Remember that holidays are for everyone, INCLUDING the cook! Don’t forget
to ask for help, allow others to bring some of their favorite dishes and
on cooking day, make time to stop, put your feet up and be very thankful
for the faces that will be sitting around your Thanksgiving table. Enjoy
yourself this year!

How to Dress 10 Pounds Slimmer by Leslie, MissusSmartyPants

No matter what label size you wear, if you are like most women, you wish
you were slimmer- or at least looked it. Even if you diet and exercise
regularly there are always some things about your body you are not happy
about and want to hide. Did you know that dressing smarter can help
camouflage those minor imperfections? Instead of saying, “Does this make
me look fat?” wouldn’t you prefer to say, “I look 10 pounds slimmer!”
Here are some clever ways to help you appear like you have lost a whole 10
pounds--

Base Your Wardrobe On Dark Neutrals. The darker tones have a natural
slimming effect. Dark colors minimize and recede into the background.
Also, they are less likely to show a small smudge and won’t need frequent
cleaning. Choosing dark neutral colors like chocolate brown, black or
charcoal gray are your best bet. Even prints with dark backgrounds are
good.

Fit Is It! Only wear clothes that fit you well. If you wear clothes that
are too baggy, contrary to what you may think--they make you look heavier!
The same goes with tight clothes. When clothes fit you too snug, they show
every bulge and create ugly horizontal lines! The key is “body skimming”
no matter what size you wear!

Ask For Alterations. For some reason, women think they need alterations
only for their wedding day! This is so not true! The right fit makes you
look slimmer, so don’t be afraid to go and take your clothes in and have
them altered. A nip or tuck here or there can make all the difference in
the world and will make you look like a million bucks.

Tighten Up! Tighten up your bra straps that is. By doing so, you’re giving
the girls an instant lift. Also remember to stand with good posture.
Mother was right, stand up straight and suck in your tummy!

The Heels Have It! Wearing heels make your legs look longer. It may sound
simple but 2” to 3” can make you look long, lean and sexy!

All In One. Dress in one color tone from head to toe. This monochromatic
trick is famous with fashion stylists. Instead of wearing a different
color on top and then having a break in color, there is one long, lean
line that is very slimming. When wearing one color from head to toe, add
some interest with texture in the fabric. An example would be a nubby
sweater matched up with some smooth gabardine slacks. Also add interest
with some fun, funky accessories like coordinating earrings and draw the
eye up with a splash of color near your face!

Use these style tips and start dressing slimmer today!

Hip Tips

Do you have a nifty, healthy foods tip you'd like to share? Maybe a
comment you want to share? Send it in with your name and state (or
country) and we'll use it in a future Healthy-Foods issue!

** I'm really giving "Saving Dinner" another try after some lame dinners
I've thrown together. I was afraid my DH wouldn't like all the new meals,
but after some over BBQ'd flat dry chicken breasts, he's in love with your
dinner menu! I just tried the THAI BEEF SALAD and he LOVED it!! I
thought the cabbage was going to scare him off, but he's liking the
healthier veges I've been feeding him lately.

My question to you: Sorry if I haven't seen it in print lately, but I've
been looking for your recipes for pancake mix and taco seasoning so I
don't have to buy the prepacked unhealthy stuff.

Thank you so much for sharing your expertise!! Flybaby in Michigan

use the google search bar at the bottom of the page. Make sure you click
on the button to search savingdinner!
