Using email for tradeshow follow ups

How you can increase post- show email click rate by 5%!

According to Exhibit Surveys an average of only 12 percent of a booth's traffic is called 12 months following a show, leaving 88% as untouched or new leads. Quite often these leads are untouched because a company has limited budget or a small sales team. So how can you reach out to that 88% that don't get called? Email marketing is a great way to follow-up with event leads and take your relationship one step further in the sales cycle. For our own event program we needed to find a way to improve open, click-through (CTR) and conversion by using the information we gathered in both CampaignerPro and our CRM system. By making changes in graphics and leveraging behavioral information from our campaigns, we improved CTR by 5% and improved overall sales conversions.

How EchoSign automated sales communications to boost lead conversions

The Challenge -EchoSign, the web's # 1 signature service, provides e-signing & sign-by-fax services to over 500 customers. To better manage their sales pipeline, EchoSign needed an online solution that would integrate easily with their CRM application, Salesforce.com, and automate the movement of leads through the sales cycle.

The Solution - EchoSign turned to CampaignerPro based on existing integration with Salesforce.com and its ability to automate and monitor highly targeted email communications. With daily imports from Salesforce.com to CampaignerPro, EchoSign ensures that the most up-to-date data is used to send personalized messages at different stages in the sales cycle. As subscribers interact with each email, new information is pushed back into the CRM.

The Results - By automating much of the lead nurturing process, sales has greater flexibility to focus on 'hot' opportunities. Data pushed back into Salesforce.com is then used to help sales prioritize their follow up calls and close more business. With the new process in place, EchoSign was able to increase their lead-to-sales conversion rate.
