Your Care2 News
October 31, 2007

Hi friend!

Today is Halloween and as part of this newsletter we have delicious recipes to make this a very healthy and green celebration. We hope you have fun with them. And to enjoy this fall season even more, find great tips to update your beauty routine and prepare your skin for those chilly winds just around the corner.

We also want to invite you to join actor Leonardo DiCaprio and the Natural Resources Defense Council in their pledge to protect polar bears. Today, America’s polar bears are walking on thin ice, literally. According to a new study by the U. S. Geological Survey, the optimal polar bear habitat is in decline and much of it will be gone—yes, gone—in 20 years if we don’t take action now.

And last but not least, we would like to congratulate those Care2 members who, upon hearing the news of a pet massacre in Puerto Rico, have initiated online petitions to take action for animal welfare. More than 15,000 people have already signed!

Thank you for all that you do and see you next month.
