--More Thanksgiving Lesson Plans--
Several lesson plans at eduRef.org stood out. First is one on bartering and a background on Thanksgiving for 3rd grade. Second and third are lessons on the Mayflower for 6th grade and 1st grade. Fourth is a kindergarten lesson on why settlers celebrated Thanksgiving.

Here's a thematic unit titled "Thanksgiving - A Celebration of Gratitude". It was written for 1st and 2nd grade and topics include the Mayflower, the Wampanoag, rations of corn, and more.
A Celebration of Gratitude

Here's a five-part well-written Thanksgiving thematic unit that was written for third grade (adaptable from K-5). It aims to maintain a thankful mindset in students, introduce the two groups of people in the first Thanksgiving and accurately depict it, and to gently change misconceptions and cultural biases:

It includes a "You are the Historian" online activity investigating the first Thanksgiving. The second link below will go directly to that activity.
