123rd AES Convention: Biggest in Over 10 Years
New York (October 15, 2007)--Record crowds of audio professionals filled exhibitor booths, Broadcast, Educational, Historical, Live Sound, Master Classes, Panels, Papers, Special Events, Tutorials and Workshops during the 123rd Audio Engineering Society Convention held in NYC's Jacob Javits Convention Center Oct. 5-8. An attendee count of 20,674 visited over 445 exhibits and attended over 150 conference events, making this the largest AES Show in more than ten years.

Lynx Studio Technology Celebrates A Decade
New York, NY (October 15, 2007)--The 123rd Audio Engineering Society Convention was the setting for the kickoff of Lynx Studio Technology's tenth anniversary observance. In 1998, Lynx co-founders Bob Bauman and David A. Hoatson introduced the company's first product, the LynxONE. Ten years later, the LynxONE is still available, along with the LynxTWO, L22, AES16 and Aurora converters.

Bang Zoom! Delivers New ADR Projects
Burbank, CA (October 15, 2007)--Bang Zoom! Entertainment recently completed extensive English language ADR services for Volumes 2 and 3 of the .hack//G.U. trilogy from NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Inc. The project is just the latest in a string of Japanese-produced anime game titles delivered to the English-speaking market by the Burbank post house.

HSU Goes Technomad
Arkadelphia, AR (October 15, 2007)--Henderson State University in Arkansas has a sizable 10,000-seat football stadium that sees a lot of action as the home of the Henderson State Reddies. Something that had also seen a lot of action was the facility's audio system, which, installed less than a decade ago, already sounded like it had been sacked, in part due to the hot, humid, and rainy elements of the south Arkansas weather.

Hollywood Post Alliance Announces Nominees
Los Angeles, CA (October 15, 2007)--The Hollywood Post Alliance has announced the nominees for the second Annual HPA Awards. Winners will be announced during a gala evening ceremony on November 1, 2007 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.

UK Legal Downloads on the Rise
London, UK (October 15, 2007)--Verdict Research reports that legal digital music and video downloads jumped over 80 percent during the past 12 months in Britain to £112 million ($227.8 million). The UK market analyst predicts that downloads will be worth £163 million ($331.5 million) by the end of this year and could reach £600 million ($1.2 billion) a year by 2012.

FDW-Worldwide Appoints Nenashev
Middleton, WI (October 15, 2007)--FDW-Worldwide has appointed Lonya Nenashev to the newly created position of product specialist. He will be responsible for product demonstrations and collaborating on new product development as well as providing sales and technical training to FDW-Worldwide dealers and representatives.
