Westwind Brass is workin' hard! Our season opening concerts are full of gems from the Renaissance to the present day. Come and get an ear full of what we are up to now! This concert features music from Europe and America with a special tribute to Fats Waller and his iconic tune "Ain't Misbehavin'," in traditional and contemporary settings. Concert program will include works by Luca Marenzio, Carlo Gesualdo, J.S. Bach, Edvard Grieg, Charles Ives, Christopher Kaufmann, Louis Armstrong and others.

In preparation for a surprise birthday bash and variety show for the captain's birthday, Leroy (Thomas M. Walker III) and Eugene (Kevin Berry) are stuck swabbing the deck. Meanwhile throughout the day, various ship mates and invited celebrities (including Phyllis Diller, Elizabeth Taylor, Connie Francis, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis) come up on deck to "rehearse" their routines/songs they will be performing that night in the variety show for the captain's birthday bash. This performance is a fundraiser to help the award-winning Center Stage Players acquire their own theatre space for performances and rehearsals, as well as establish their non-profit status.
