The story of brothers Erik and Lyle Menendez, convicted of the brutal
murders of their wealthy parents. In their two highly publicized
trials, the brothers admitted to the killings, but claimed they acted
in self-defense after their parents physically and mentally abused
them for years. Narrated by Paul Winfield.

8-9pm -- Notorious - The Monster of the Andes: Pedro Lopez
The story of serial killer Pedro Alonzo Lopez. After being violently
raped in prison when he was 18 and killing three of his assailants, he
launched an 8-year killing spree that claimed the lives of more than
100 girls in Peru. He then moved to Colombia and Ecuador, where he
sometimes averaged three murders a week. Widely believed to have
committed 300 murders, Lopez is today in prison in Ecuador.

9-11pm -- Uncovered - The Execution of Wanda Jean
In 1988, Wanda Jean Allen shot and killed her lover, Gloria Leathers,
and was sentenced to death for the crime. With chilling intimacy, this
documentary follows Allen as her execution date nears. We watch as
Allen's legal team desperately tries to get the state of Oklahoma to
grant her clemency, arguing that Allen suffered from brain damage, a
fact that was never presented at her trial. This is an unflinching
investigation into the roles that poverty, mental health, race, and
sexuality play in the criminal justice system.

To give her daughter a better chance at making the high-school
cheerleading squad, Wanda Holloway conspired to kill another
cheerleader and her mother. The case shocked the nation and exposed
the obsession that many Americans have with football and cheerleading.
Features an interview with Verna Heath, the mother targeted for death.
Narrated by Paul Winfield.

8-9pm -- Notorious - Beast of the Ukraine.
Andrei Chikatilo, a married man, teacher, and member of the Communist
party, began a life of serial child molestation, rape, and murder in
the 1970s. He picked up runaways, prostitutes, and children throughout
the 1980s, killing and mutilating them in the most horrible ways, all
to satisfy himself sexually. After several arrests, he was finally
convicted and executed in 1994.

9-10pm -- Breaking Vegas - Professor Blackjack.
In 1961, lifelong gambler Manny Kimmel, a "connected" New York
businessman, read an article by MIT math professor Ed Thorp claiming
that anyone could make a fortune at blackjack by using math theory to
count cards. The mob-connected sharpie offered the young professor a
deal: he would put up the money, if Thorp would put his theory to
action and card-count their way to millions. From Thorp's initial
research to the partnership's explosive effect on the blackjack
landscape, this episode boasts fascinating facts about the game's
history, colorful interviews (including with Thorp), and archival
footage that evokes the timeless allure and excitement of the thriving
casinos in the early `60s.

10-10:30pm -- Airline - 13 - For Better for Worse
Wedding bells are ringing at Southwest Airlines, but not everything is
going according to plan. In Chicago, a passenger going to her nuptials
is denied boarding because she's too drunk to fly. In Hollywood, a
stuntman waits anxiously with an engagement ring for his
girlfriend--but will she show up? And pilots John Trumble and Annie
Fitzgerald elope to Las Vegas.

10:30-11pm -- Airline - Spirit Party
The FAA rules are clear, alcohol and air travel simply do not mix. In
LA, passenger Wayne Samuel has been drinking and it's fallen to
supervisor Yolanda to tell him he's too drunk to board the flight.
It's the night of the Southwest Spirit Party--a vast annual staff
gathering--and a huge occasion for supervisor Mike. He's invited a
special guest he wants to introduce to his colleagues. Gospel group
the Faithway Doves are on their way to Chicago to be honored by the

8-9pm -- Notorious - Who Killed the Candy Heiress? The Helen Brach Story.
The strange case of the candy heiress who disappeared without a trace
in February 1977. Even though her former lover was convicted in 1995
in connection with her death, her body has never been found, and
questions about her disappearance remain.

9-10pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Robert Downey Jr.
Profile of one of the most gifted, prolific actors in Hollywood and
one of its greatest comeback stories. At the age of twenty he joined
the cast of Saturday Night Live for one season and would go on to star
in several high grossing 80s movies. But then Downey was arrested in
1996 and his brushes with the law continued until 2000 when he cleaned
up his act and became a regular on the television series, Ally McBeal.
A Golden Globe award followed as did an Emmy nomination. Since then,
Downey has put his career back in full swing and is set to star in the
sci-fi adventure, Iron Man, with co-star Gwyneth Paltrow.

10-11pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Rob Lowe
He's had a meteoric rise to fame in the '80s, co-starring with fellow
Brat Packers Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, and Charlie Sheen in a series
of popular teen movies. After scandals and controversies threatened to
derail his career, Lowe got back on track and officially took his
career off life support when he joined the cast of The West Wing. His
role in the TV hit earned him his third and fourth Golden Globe
nominations, two SAG awards, and an Emmy nomination. And his guest
appearances in Brothers & Sisters was an immediate hit with viewers,
helped boost ratings, and landed him a permanent cast position.

When Lynsey Quy mysteriously vanishes on Christmas Day, her husband
reports her missing. Psychic Joe Power has a nightmarish vision of a
woman brutally murdered, and convinced it's Lynsey seeking help, he
takes his information to the police, who don't follow through.
Frustrated, Joe follows clues from his vision--images of the gruesome
murder, a fairground, tractors, and a railroad track--to a beach
community where Lynsey resided with her husband Mitchell and their two
children. Meanwhile, a new detective takes over the case and brings
Mitchell in for questioning. A little digging proves that things

In the high-flying 1980s, Larry Lavin was a clean-cut dentist living
the good life in suburban Philadelphia. But, what his upper-crust
neighbors didn't know was that Lavin led a double life--one that would
finally be exposed by a shocking narcotics investigation. Narrated by
Paul Winfield.

8-9pm -- Notorious - Ed Gein.
The grisly story of the deranged killer who inspired characters in
such films as Psycho, Silence of the Lambs, and The Texas Chainsaw
Massacre. Ed Gein made chairs and lampshades out of human skin, cut
soup bowls from human skulls, and wore a female torso as he wandered
his property on moonlit evenings. His crimes became a case study in
media frenzy, psychoanalysis, and criminal profiling.

9-11pm -- Uncovered - More Haunted Houses: Tortured Souls and Restless Spirits
Delve into the dark side of famous American folk tales, exposing the
horror at the root of these enduring mysteries. In this two-hour
special, we visit five Haunted Houses, including the Donnelly Farm in
Lucan, Ontario, once the blood soaked site of a massacre. Here an
Irish immigrant family was burned alive when fear and ignorance led to
revenge. Descendants of vigilantes who killed them are still haunted
by what they did. Also, 170 years ago, illicit love flourished in the
house on Rue Royale, New Orleans. Inside, a rich white man and a poor
black woman fought odds to be together. Misunderstanding led to death,
and today the young mistress is said to still haunt this place, trying
to recapture her forbidden love.
