A few tips about online video:
-- Streaming video is still a new technology. It requires a fast internet connection, usually cable or DSL, to work properly. Online video will not work with dial-up connection. For fans who do not have broadband, we will make some of these videos available at The Zone periodically.
-- For streaming video, almost all computer systems are set up differently. Depending on your security settings and preferences, you may have to enable or approve each video to play. With Active X controls or pop-up blockers, you okay each broadcast by clicking on the “temporarily allow” button.
-- Some network systems will not allow streaming videos to play, usually in a work environment. If this is the case, you can forward this email to your home email or elsewhere to view it.
-- Unfortunately, streaming video is a few years away from looking
like TV. If you can avoid watching full screen or stretching the image it will appear more clearly (think smaller but better).
-- Feel free to share these broadcasts with anyone you think would be interested. Just forward the email on and be the first to share this new Griffins info with other fans.
-- Some computers may not work well with this type of streaming video (WMV). If you have trouble with your system, let us know via email so we can address these issues now and make sure you are ready when the first puck drops in October!
