| New "I Wants" |
The last couple of weeks have seen lots of
stock top ups, the addition of some new Scenic Route chipboard letters as well as the
introduction of the funky Pirate Princess and Cap'n Jack papers!! These are such fun, the colours and patterns are perfect for any little girl or boy, as well as being versatile enough to be able to use for 'everday' pics as well. And to even add to the appeal, they're double sided!!

More Inspiration!! by Vicki Brunner

How's this for stunning!! Here Vicki has
used Scenic Route Laurel papers, Junktiz, Petaloo &
LuLu's Flowers, Heidi Swapp Iron Ons, Heidi Swapp Ghost Clocks, Scenic Route
Alphas, Jenni Bowlin Chipboard Bird, Swirl Stamps, Black Ink and Dimensional Magic. Best of all are
the cute little red and white beads, which Vicki has made herself!! Read below for a tutorial on making these cute beads. The alphas have been painted white, then stamped and coated with Dimensional Magic.

Paper beads have been around since
Victorian times and are very simple to make.
They make a perfectly coordinated embellishment for your scrapbooking,
cardmaking or OTP creations.
You
will need:
- Paper of your choice.
- Modge Podge or similar adhesive.
- Brush/foam brush
- A long, thin, cylindrical tool {eg. orange stick from a manicure
set}
Instructions:
- Cut strips of paper 0.5" wide and 1.5" long.
- Brush Modge Podge on the patterned (top) side of the strip.
- Roll the strip around the orange stick until the entire length is
rolled onto the stick.
- The Modge Podge will glue the bead together.
- Allow to dry.
- If you want a glossier bead, add a few more coats of Modge Podge or a
sealer.
Variations:
You can vary the size and shape of paper
beads by simply changing the shape of the paper strips.
- Triangular strips will produce a bead which is thicker in the
middle.
- Narrower strips will give a narrower bead.
- Longer strips will give a thicker bead.
