In analysis, Erin Wiegand examines the consequences of the media and activists overusing the veil to symbolize Islam, while today's action alert focuses attention on the shocking cost -- in dollars -- of maintaining U.S. troops in Iraq. One day of the war, for example, could provide four-year university scholarships for nearly 35,000 people, says a U.S. social justice group.
