At last week's Frankfurt auto show, Mercedes-Benz showed off a fleet of new cars, while BMW and Audi made more minor splashes. Other car makers didn't seem to put in as much effort, except for Nissan. In my new Driving It column, I take a close look at the concept Nissan Mixim, the Mercedes-Benz F700 research vehicle, and the soon-to-be-imported BMW 135i. Nissan Rogue arrivesWayne Cunningham From the Short Notice Department, Nissan announced pricing for its new Rogue crossover SUV yesterday. The car arrives at dealers and goes on sale today. We saw the Rogue at the Detroit auto show last January, and came away impressed by its interior. The materials and general fit all seemed very good, something we've come to expect from other Nissans we've seen. Read more

Best portable DVD player for kids in car
Posted by philsmith I'm going on a road trip and would like to keep my 3-year-old son entertained--I have done some basic research on portable DVD players and think that what I'm looking for is not the basic unit with carrying case, but rather the screen that can be hooked to the back of the headrest.
