Is it just us, or was this summer shorter than one of Paris Hilton's blink-and-you-missed-it relationships? Just like the breakup you never saw coming, it will be hard to say goodbye to the warm weather, but we'll always have the memories, right? So wipe away your tears as we dedicate this article to the top seven things we'll most miss about summer 2007.

1. Nicole's Baby Bump
Going against everything we were taught about science and biology, teeny-tiny Nicole managed to do the seemingly impossible and get knocked up by none other than Hilary Duff's ex, Joel Madden. But does this wild-child-turned-maternal-girl have what it takes to settle down and raise a family? Let's just hope her Mom IQ is higher than her BMI.

2. Lindsay's Bad Luck
Call it bad luck, bad genes, or bad behavior, but whatever it is, our favorite party girl sure had a busy summer. She was spotted a zillion times looking hot in a bikini at the beach, but she's also been to rehab a couple times, had a few run-ins with the law, and is still struggling with her addictions to drugs and alcohol. Call us mean girls, but we like LiLo better when she isn't fully loaded.

3. Paris Hilton Gets Locked Up
Admit it, you felt a tiny spark of joy when you saw Paris crying in the back of a police car. While she told Larry King she's a changed woman, we haven't seen that new leaf yet. And it doesn't help that she hasn't stopped her bad girl behavior either. Poor Paris!

4. The Britney Bomb
It's been a super-crazy ride this summer for our favorite pop princess. We hardly know where to begin, but we can try: Head-shaving, rehab-attending, umbrella-attacking, car-exiting mishaps, and a VMA meltdown, just to name a few. But if we know Brit-Brit (and we don't), we're sure she's got more up her sleeve, and we haven't given up on that hot comeback quite yet. Come on, Britney, give us more!

5. Larry and Howard's Relationship
All together now: Awwww. Okay, okay, just kidding. These two have more issues than any other Hollywood "couple," and twice the hunger for the spotlight. But, if it's secrets, lies, and drama you want, you've come to the right place. Oh, what a long, strange friendship (or love affair?) it's been. If only little Dannielynn could talk...

6. Owen's Bumpy Road
No one would have believed it a couple months ago, but one of Hollywood's favorite funny men has more than a few dark secrets. Not long after his breakup with Kate Hudson, Owen Wilson was rushed to the hospital after a suicide attempt. Then word gets out that he's struggled with depression for quite some time — hard to imagine such a sad face from someone who's made us laugh so much.

7. The Hills are Alive
What gossip countdown would be complete without everybody's most loved (or most hated) "reality" show. We've got so many questions. Are Spencer and Heidi for real? Why does Lauren always hate on her friends' boyfriends? And what is up with Justin Bobby's name? Luckily, we've got Lo to cheer us up.

And there you have the biggest shockers, shake-ups, and sizzling stories of this season. Even though it'll be hard to say goodbye, take comfort: We're sure the upcoming months will bring just as much drama and gossip. As long as Hollywood keeps it up, this fall is sure to be even hotter than summer!
