The March on Jena

Thousands of people descended on the small town of Jena, La., today to protest what they say is the unjust imprisonment of six black teenagers for the beating of a white classmate. It's a scene out of the civil rights movement of the 1960s. "Nightline" co-anchor Terry Moran is live from Jena as the march winds down.

AWOL

For as long as there has been war, there have been soldiers deserting. More than 17,000 soldiers have deserted during this current war on terror, and the numbers are expected to rise, according to the U.S. Army. ABC's Nick Watt reports from Germany.

Must Love Dogs

In Japan, dogs are all the rage. Canines are increasingly the companions of choice in this island nation. Companies are banking on the trend, making doggy acupuncture, couture and even funeral services available to pet owners. ABC's Mark Litke reports.
