In 1983 the ex-wife of Canadian Cabinet Minister Colin Thatcher is
found brutally murdered in her garage. Police have their suspect, but
pointing the finger at powerful politician Colin Thatcher is dangerous
business. Through intense interrogations and a brilliant sting
operation, police gather the evidence they need to shake the halls of
power and bring the killer to justice.
8-9pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - 106 - Boise, ID: Last Dance
The center of Idaho's potato empire, there's nothing bland about this
Northwestern town. Spud money has given Boise a sprinkling of big-city
sophistication and a dollop of crime. Like in 1995, when Boise got
caught up in a mystery worthy of New York City and was shocked when a
billionaire art patron was implicated in murder. But when the
townsfolk took a closer look, they discovered a twisted tale involving
a Russian ballet dancer and rumors of KGB involvement.
9-10pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - 114 - Duchesne, UT: Blown Away
Life in the town of Duchesne, about 100 miles from Salt Lake City, is
as hard as sun-baked rock and weather-beaten leather. Everyone must
struggle to survive, except John Pinder, the ne'er-do-well son of a
millionaire. Pinder enjoyed ostrich farming, had a pet lion named
Simba, and dabbled in dynamite and drugs. But it wasn't until the
bodies of two of Pinder's ranch hands were blown to bits that folks
discovered just how dangerous Pinder could be.
10-11pm -- Uncovered - Death Detectives: The LA County Coroner
A week in the life of the Los Angeles coroner's office. Viewers watch
as the medical examiner works on the victims of drug overdoses, gang
violence, and suicide.

Landlord and pub owner Mick Hughes is brutally attacked in his living
quarters above his bar, bleeds to death, and is found by employees 48
hours later. Psychic Angela McGhee visits the crime scene and
experiences strong visions. She sees three men entering Mick's
quarters via the fire escape, the attack, and three suspects fleeing
the building. Mick's spirit also tells Angela he knows one of his
killers. Exiting the pub, Angela has a terrifying feeling--she knows
the young man serving drinks behind the bar is involved in the brutal
crime. The police haven't gathered enough concrete evidence to make an
arrest but take a chance and visit Angela--and are shocked by the
accuracy of her visions. When the pub is burgled again, police get the
break they've been waiting for and arrest the young man working behind
the bar and two of his friends. It doesn't take long for the three to

8-9pm -- Notorious - Harold Shipman.
The incredible story of the British doctor believed responsible for
killing hundreds of his patients, mostly through intravenous drugs. In
1998, concerns by local undertakers and physicians spurred a quiet
police inquiry into Shipman's high patient death rate, but poor
investigative work turned up nothing suspicious. He was finally nabbed
when he created a phony will that would have made him the beneficiary
of one of his victims. Shipman hanged himself in jail in 2004.
9-11pm -- Uncovered - The Secret Life of Vampires
Long before Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt bared their fangs, vampires have
been the sex symbols - the rock stars - of the horror genre. They
embody the dark, hidden, erotic element of human consciousness; at

Story of federal agent Don Daufenbach who used a secret name and
address to infiltrate Internet chat rooms and bust up a child
pornography ring.
9-9:30pm -- Airline - 14 - It Ain't Over til it's Over
A blizzard in Chicago causes massive cancellations and delays at
Southwest Airlines. Two honeymooners rush to make it to Los Angeles in
time to catch a flight to Tahiti, but with most flights grounded, they
may not make their connection. A group of teenage Eminem fans, who
flew all the way from Idaho to LA to see their idol, discover it may
be a long time before they set eyes on him.
9:30-10pm -- Airline - 66 - Turbulence Everywhere
Gina finally takes to the air as a Flight Attendant, and learns about
life in the skies the hard way. On the ground in Houston, another
storm is taking place. Passenger George was spat at, on disembarking a
flight home, and the police have been called to calm a crowd of
disgusted passengers and apprehend the suspect. Over in Chicago, a
large group of women are creating their own turbulence when they
discover that there is not enough room to get them all home. Half of
them are going to Omaha and the other half are heading back to Philly,
but as things stand, someone's going to be left at the airport. Over
at another gate, Ellen and John have been pulled off a flight on
suspicion of intoxication. But once Kerry gets to the bottom of
things, it might all be a mistake. And at BWI, Sue Lee has got her eye
on a young soldier, who's been sick in the terminal. He wants to fly,
but Sue Lee knows better.
10-10:30pm -- Caesars 24/7 - On the Edge.
The pool at Caesars is well-known as a hot spot to meet women. A group
of "sharks" move in to try to score in the water, while two guys try
to find dates for a boxing match. Three childhood friends' boyhood
rivalries' kick in when they challenge one another to a grudge match
of blackjack that lasts for 24 hours. A group of business people are
considering hosting an event at Caesars, which could result in
millions being spent at the casino and hotel. It's the job of master
butler Valentino and Caesars event planners to impress them. To do so,
they throw an elegant cocktail and desert party but a series of
unexpected problems occur, threatening to derail any hopes of landing
this new client and potentially costing Caesars millions of dollars in
lost revenue.

Pit Boss Joe Comastro, who has a reputation for being a flirtatious
Playboy, recently got engaged to a dealer at Caesars. But it appears
he might be getting cold feet about getting married. Joe's daughters

the greatest woman he's ever met. A lot of women claim they've gone to
Vegas with little or no money in their purse and enjoyed an all

Who hired the hitman that killed Alice McArthur in Little Rock,
Arkansas in 1982? Was it her husband, a criminal defense attorney, or

scene of her husband's murder. Despite a flimsy alibi, she was never
charged in the murder and retained Bill as her personal attorney.
After Alice's murder, Mary Lee and two other defendants were
convicted...but Bill was never indicted. We probe the still hotly

justice system for 10 years. In 1993, Merry Pease claimed that her
husband shot her, but authorities charged that she killed her husband
and then shot herself to make it appear as if her husband had shot
her. Pease was indicted three times, convicted twice and was in and
out of jail throughout this long ordeal. She maintains her innocence
to this day.

The story of the three women from Texas--sisters Martie and Emily
Erwin and Natalie Maines--who shook up the country music scene with
the release of their first CD in 1998--and caused a storm of
controversy when Natalie made a critical remark about President Bush
before a sold-out crowd in London in March 2003.
10-11pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Whoopi Goldberg
A look at the career of the comic and actress who took Hollywood by
storm in Ghost and The Color Purple, but whose off-color language and

In Portland Maine, a young woman named Amy goes out one evening with

Amy's disappearance. With the trail growing cold, the lead
investigator makes the unusual decision to consult a psychic he hears
on the radio. Despite knowing next to nothing about the case, the
psychic, Vicki Monroe, tells the investigator many things. She

fill Malibu's phonebook, if their numbers were listed. But the good
times came to an end for Charlie after he met stripper Suzette
McClure. When she found him in bed with his new girlfriend, she shot

Profile of the Grammy Award-winning rapper, singer, model, and actress
who's been hip-hop's first lady, the face of Cover Girl, and an Oscar
nominee. Born Dana Elaine Owens, she was nicknamed Latifah, which
means "delicate and sensitive" in Arabic. She started her music career
as a human beat box alongside rap group Ladies Fresh, and her first
album at the age of 19 was a success. But her brother, Lance, was
killed in an accident involving the motorcycle she had bought him.
Emerging from her grief, Latifah's album "Black Reign" was dedicated
to her brother and was the first album by a female MC to ever go gold.
Latifah then branched into other media, starring on TV's Living Single
and in the hit movie musical Chicago.
10-11pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Alec Baldwin.
Riding high after his Oscar nomination for The Cooler, Alec Baldwin is
back at the top of his game. But his show business career has been a
bumpy ride. We look at the life of the actor from Massapequa, Long
Island, who seemed to have everything he could ask for--big-screen
success, big-screen looks, and a beautiful wife in Kim Basinger. But
Baldwin has had to face a series of personal and professional setbacks
ranging from bad career decisions to divorce.

When two prominent Dartmouth professors were found murdered in their
home in January 2001, the case attracted national attention. The
killers left several significant clues in the couple's study, enabling

9-10pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - 48 - Chattanooga: Dangerous Trespassing
When three visitors to Signal Mountain are murdered in the woods,
suspicion falls on Frank Casteel, who liked to threaten trespassers
with his shotgun. Includes an interview with Casteel's former
mistress, who wore a wire to gather evidence against him. Paul
Winfield narrates.
10-11pm -- Dead Men Talking - Dead Giveaway
A twisted case of sibling sabotage. A missing-person mystery with a
