WIN DIRT. THE VIDEO GAME, THAT IS.
Last month the new video game DIRT was released, the latest in the Colin McRae rally gaming series. Weve just come up on five copies of DIRT (which features Travis Pastrana), and were giving them away this week to a few lucky DC Newsclip readers. All you have to do is answer this trivia question correctly:
*** Travis Pastrana placed a bet with Colin McRae over the Rally Car Racing event at X Games 13. By finishing better than Colin, what did Travis win from him?
Well randomly choose five names out of those who respond correctly to score a copy of DIRT. Send your name, hometown, answer, and gaming platform (X Box 360, PS3, or PC) to dcdirtcontests@dcshoes.com. Good luck!
Eligible entries must be received by 8/30/2007. Must be at 13 years or older to enter. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

MIRRA TAKES 2ND IN BMX PARK AT DEW TOUR PORTLAND
Last weekend Dave Mirra was on the podium again, taking 2nd in BMX Park at the AST Dew Tour stop in Portland, Oregon. It was the 2nd straight box result for Dave, who took Bronze in BMX Park a few weeks Back at X Games 13.
In the finals Dave was looking super smooth as he knocked out his well-planned run. He pulled a double tailwhip, a wild 720, a downside whip, 540, 360 tailwhip, and an opposite one-footed table transfer to earn a 93.5, three points higher than the third place guy and just missing the top slot by about half a point.

ADAM JONES IS ON A ROLL: WINS DEW TOUR PORTLAND!
Two straight for Adam!
It might be the shaolin flip. It might be the stripper flip. It might be Nates injured finger. Call it what you will, but DCs Adam Jones is on a roll. On the heels of his two medals (Gold and Silver) at X Games 13, Adam took the victory at the Portland stop of the AST Dew Tour. It was Adams first Dew Tour win ever!
Adam started things off by qualifying first for the finals, then continued with a great 1st run in the finals. He brought his signature stripper flip, and shaolin flip, plus a cliffhanger flip on the big 75-foot jump.
Nate Adams was hot on Adams heels, still bothered by that tweaked index finger. He feels fine, but still cant pull some of his tricks with the hurt throttle finger. He still took the 2nd place position and making for another 1-2 finish for the DC Moto Team.
Congrats Adam and Nate! Check out more Portland FMX action at www.dewtour.com.
