"I have to say I'm so glad I purchased your DebtIntoWealth
System! I was skeptical at first, so I went to the website.
It sounded good, so I figured "what the heck," I'll give it
a try. My goal was to pay off $5000 in credit card debt and
a car loan so I could buy a new home, and get me and my 4
girls out of our 2 bedroom apartment. It worked! It's now 9
months later and ALL of my debt is paid off, and I just
signed a contract on a new 5 bedroom house! There is no
better feeling than to have NO debts, and a savings account
too! Thanks to your system, my family is going to have a
better life by not being enslaved to debt."

Kids in the Kitchen by Leanne Ely, C.N.C.

The kitchen is the perfect place to be together with your children. This
is where the meals are made and, if your dining table is in the same room,
it’s where they’re eaten too. Giving children the opportunity to learn how
to cook and prepare meals has amazing side effects. Believe it or not,
you’ll even find your picky kids are more willing to try something they’ve
made themselves.

When my son was 7 years old, he still wouldn’t eat salad. I had my
children rotating through the kitchen every other day as my kitchen
helpers, and when it became his day again, I decided it was time for him
to make the salad. I showed him how to wash the lettuce and spin it (we
have a salad spinner), I showed him how to cut veggies (yes, they can do
it with close supervision!) and I showed him how to toss the salad with
the dressing once it was time to serve it.

Sitting down at the table that night, my very proud son asked everyone if
they liked HIS salad about 10 times! He ate two servings himself and from
that day forward, he’s never been picky when it comes to salads. I call it
“hands on nutrition”. This type of involvement helps to mold good habits
and gives children an opportunity to exercise some personal responsibility
over the food they consume—a big boon to their own personal nutrition when
they go off to school and need to make decisions for themselves.

As many of you know, I have a website called Saving Dinner where I provide
weekly menus, recipes and shopping lists for my subscribers. I can’t tell
you how many times I’ve received emails from subscribers needing
assistance with some very basic cooking skills because they’ve never been
taught how to cook. Or other ones emailing me and telling me how good they
feel about themselves because they’re starting to get how to put a meal
together! It is so important that we equip our children with the skills
they’ll need for life. Motherhood is the only job I know of that you work
hard to work yourself out of a job! We want to see our children succeed
and knowing how to cook is a basic life skill—it’s essential.

So bring the kids into the kitchen this week—even the littlest ones can be
good helpers! Make being together in the kitchen a part of your life
together as a family. Think of the memories you’ll make! And to get you
started, here is a great family recipe that kids will love helping you to
make--

Crunchy Honey Mustard Chicken Fingers
Serves 4 hungry kids—double up for the rest of the family!

4 small, boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1/4 cup honey, warmed
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 cup corn flakes, crushed

Preheat oven to 425. Lightly grease a cookie sheet

In a small bowl, mix Dijon and warmed honey together till well mixed. Put
crushed corn flakes in a separate bowl.

Slice chicken into 3/4 inch strips. Dip in honey mustard mix. Then roll
in crushed corn flakes and put on cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or
until golden brown.

How to Buy a Great Pair of Jeans by Leslie, MissusSmartyPants

Are you wearing an outdated style of jeans that makes you appear dated and
out-of-step with fashion? When you have a great fitting pair of jeans on,
you will look more hip and stylish, hands down!

A great pair of jeans is a key piece to any women’s wardrobe! Finding you
best fitting jeans can sometimes be a like searching for a needle in a
haystack! Here are some quick styles tips to make you search much easier…

1. Look for jeans with stretch. They “remember” your shape and keep
their shape. Stretch jeans also move with you so they are more
comfortable.

2. Go dark. It will always make you look slimmer! Dark colors recede—so
use it to your advantage!

3. Bend and stretch. Don’t wear baggy jeans; they make you look sloppy.
Find jeans that flatter your shape and are body skimming.

4. Here’s the down-low on rise. The most flattering pant rise is around
9 inches, so look for these. Think mid-rise or right below you navel for a
universally flattering fit.

5. Boots are best. Most likely you will find a boot-cut style helps
balance out your proportions (thick torso or full bottom and thighs). It
depends on your body type—but boot-cuts work for most.

6. Girls just want to have curves. If you are on the other end of the
spectrum and very slender and want to add curves, certain styles of jeans
will be best. Look for jeans that have back-flap pockets and are placed
higher up on the backside. This will add a curvier look to your
behind.P.S. The new “skinny” pants and jeans are for you!

7. Battle of the Bulge. If you are like most women, this is your number
one concern—the tummy area. How do you minimize a tummy? Well, the first
thing is a plain simple darker wash jean. Also avoid styles that have
sparkles or embroidery at the pocket-drawing attention there. Another
great way to minimize a tummy, is selecting a style that sit right below
or at the belly button—just be sure your pants aren’t too tight, creating
a bulge.

8. No need to break the bank. There is no need to spend a zillion
dollars on a pair of jeans. Jeans come in every price point—there’s bound
to be a flattering pair for you and your budget!

9. Don’t waist time on the wrong cut. If you are short-waisted look for
a pair that comes a bit lower in the rise. The opposite is true; if you
are long-waisted allow the rise to be higher.

10. Be prepared to try on lots of jeans. It can take a lot of trying on
to get the best fit. Be patient and make sure you wear comfortable shoes
and clothes. It is best to eat a good breakfast before you head to the
stores—so you won’t run out of gas!

Hip Tips

Do you have a nifty, healthy foods tip you'd like to share? Maybe a
comment you want to share? Send it in with your name and state (or
country) and we'll use it in a future Healthy-Foods issue!

*When you store flour-based products (i.e.- pasta, cake, brownie, cookie
mixes, the flour bag itself) put a bay leaf in the container. It is a
natural 'insect' repellant. I get the inexpensive brand (dollar store) and
put some in my rice, too, and along the shelves.

My mother always bought a big package of peppermint gum and put the
individual sticks on her pantry shelves. She would also put out red pepper
to ward away red ants. She lined her shelves with aluminum foil, as well.

thanks for the great tips.
