Willa Johnson pulls upset

Oklahoma City Councilwoman Willa Johnson tonight won the Democrat primary for County Commissioner.

She won with 35.3 percent of the vote in the winner-take-all format special election.

She will face Republican primary winner Forrest Claunch in the general election, September 11.

Former District 88 Rep. Debbie Blackburn came in second place, losing to Johnson by 80 votes.

Ann Simank came in third place with 23.7 percent of the vote.
