7-8pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - 122 - Knoxville, TN: Phantom Hitman
In the 1990s, the financial and social hub of Appalachia was a mix of
intellectuals, college football stars, and good ol' boys with a
hankerin' for big city livin'. But the good times ended for one man
when a love triangle involving his wife and the church organist almost
led to murder and a comedy of errors.
8-9pm -- Notorious - Mothers Who Kill.
A mother kills her child. It's a crime as old as Greek mythology, yet
it's just as shocking today when the stories of Andrea Yates, Marilyn
Lemak, and Susan Smith show up in the news. When women kill their
children, are they always insane or do some of them make clear-cut,
cold-blooded choices? We pose the question to psychiatrists,
prosecutors, and guilty mothers themselves and find some surprising
insights and answers.
9-10pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Rob Lowe
He's had a meteoric rise to fame in the '80s, co-starring with fellow
Brat Packers Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, and Charlie Sheen in a series
of popular teen movies. After scandals and controversies threatened to
derail his career, Lowe got back on track and officially took his
career off life support when he joined the cast of The West Wing. His
role in the TV hit earned him his third and fourth Golden Globe

appearances in Brothers & Sisters was an immediate hit with viewers,
helped boost ratings, and landed him a permanent cast position.

cage of rattlesnakes, then write a suicide note. Unfortunately for her
husband, she lived! Narrated by Paul Winfield.
8-9pm -- Notorious - 193 - Shamed into Confession
A look at how a confession--whether true or false--can harm a

claiming that he confessed because he felt guilty about having a
sexual relationship with the priest.
9-10pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Harold Shipman.
The incredible story of the British doctor believed responsible for
killing hundreds of his patients, mostly through intravenous drugs. In

police inquiry into Shipman's high patient death rate, but poor
investigative work turned up nothing suspicious. He was finally nabbed
when he created a phony will that would have made him the beneficiary
of one of his victims. Shipman hanged himself in jail in 2004.

Toronto police officer in the bizarre slayings of two nurses nearly 30
years ago. Toronto Police records indicated that Ronald Glen West was

killer of the two nurses. Making use of modern profiling and
scientific crime investigation techniques, in 1999, Toronto police
arrested and charged Ronald West with the two nurses' murders; he was
convicted and sentenced to two concurrent life sentences. He is also

8-10pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - New London, Connecticut: Extreme Family Feud
New London, Connecticut is New England's original rough-and-tumble
fishing town. It's a city so historically bawdy and barbaric that
fishermen simply referred to it as "the Old Bucket of Blood". Though
New London is basically a blue-collar town, the snooty suburbs that
surround the city are equally as white-collar. And when bad blood
between two feuding suburban families led to murder, the city was
stained a more sinister shade of red. Paul Winfield narrates this
2-hour special.

light-complexion African American, with a round face and a goatee. Ann
thinks Jeanne has it wrong, until she learns that one of the victim's
neighbors had reported an African American man lurking in the bushes

Can a veteran psychic and a rookie cop crack the case of a missing

the name Michael. Meanwhile, rookie cop Gary Micco and colleague
George Deuchar have a suspect named Michael in custody; but the
detectives are forced to release him because of the lack of evidence
of a crime. Weber and Micco connect via a mutual acquaintance and
Weber shares what she knows with the detective. When Rachel's body is
found buried in the woods, just as Weber described, Micco visits Weber
again. She assures him the killer will soon be captured--he's in the
woods in an agitated state, near two huge oil drums. Moments later,
the killer is captured. When Micco gets to the scene, it's exactly as
Weber had described it. The seasoned psychic and the green cop have
cracked the case in record time.

of the St. Valentine's Massacre roam the site where the murders took
place, and Clarence Darrow appears near the Museum of Science and
Industry, where his ashes were scattered. Join us for a chilling tour
of the Windy City. Narrated by John Glover.

off, by her boyfriend's expression of love? A flamboyant professional

prove his point, he gives a college co-ed who rarely gambles a crash

Moore resurrected her status as a tabloid darling by marrying the
youthful actor Ashton Kutcher.

her a bankable star. Then Witherspoon became true Hollywood royalty
