I confess, the combination of the past and the present is what makes Darkness Chosen one of my favorite projects -- the books combine the richness of my beloved historicals and the pulse-pounding excitement of contemporary suspense. When I add dark and dangerous paranormal elements, the stories become bigger, more dramatic, and most important, more romantic.
