Is it hot where you are? Here it's so hot we
just run all the air conditioners all the time. We live in a cottage,
so we have room air conditioners, not central. I'm in my office right
now typing this, and even set low, it's warm in here.
Have you seen Perfume: The Story of a
Murderer? Come on, go rent it. It's really good, but clearly one
of the strangest stories, and yet brilliantly done. Read the book
first, if you can -- it's by Patrick Susskind. Then, rent the DVD.
Also, as monster movies go, The Host was
a lot of fun.
Regarding novels? Right now, I'm reading
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Yes, I'm a Rowling fan.
So far, it's great. Plus, I'm working on a novel, so I don't read too
many novels when I'm writing a new book.

The NEW Character Clip
As a further tease toward the final book
trailer on August 6th, there will be a new character clip coming up

Wait until you see this one! It looks like a
scene out of a great horror movie.
For those of you who have read the hardcover of
The Lady of Serpents, it's the character known as the
ashling when the book begins.
The video will launch this week, so keep
checking back at

too.
I had some website glitches in the past week or
so, and therefore a lot of email didn't reach me -- and if you tried
to comment on the News page, that also didn't work. We had so many
visitors to the video page that the site crashed for an entire day
recently -- but the problem's been fixed, so with any luck that won't
happen again.
