Introducing the Q5+ Party Series |

The first event of the Q5+ event series will be held this Friday at Jade on 36.
What is Q5+
Q5+ is an ongoing party series specially designed and orientated to Q5 card holders. In addition to the benefits (read: free swag and booze) you’ve been entitled to so far as members of the Q-munity, the Q5+ party series is your chance to directly meet up with other members, get to a few of the venues you’ve never been to, receive those drink deals you’re entitled to, settle forum grudge matches face to face and to just generally have a good time. So far, we’ve got parties and events lines up for the next three months. We’re still scrambling to get all the details ironed out but it’s our hope that the Q+ events will continue to bring the Q-munity together in new, fun atmospheres at affordable prices.
Why Q5+?
The Q5+ series is the fulfillment of the promise we made last year when we first started offering the Q5 cards. In addition to offering benefits and discounts in restaurants, bars and clubs, we’re hoping to bring people of different backgrounds but similar interests together. We’re hoping to bring not only the Q-munity together, but also members from the larger designing, advertising, artist, fashion, music and media communities at fun, affordable concept parties.

 Q5+ aircrew kicks off it's event series in association with Jade on 36 Bar's eclectic Summer Party PARIS, NEW YORK, SHANGHAI.  A Jaded Productions is bringing in the UK's DJ Supreme for a special hip hop party. "Prizes and gifts" will be given to the "sexiest hip hop dancers in white" and everyone in "sexy white attire will enjoy specials on Grey Goose cocktails and bottles." Cover: 150rmb (includes one free drink). Volar members receive free admittance. Q5 members receive free entry before 11.

 On Friday the new Paramount hosts Alkatraz, consisting of Dj Dub J and Dj G-Bot. Both have more than 10 years of Djing experience and are billed as "the future of dance music." Hear their music at their MySpace page. Cover: 100rmb. Q5 members receive free admittance and one standard drink.
This Saturday - DJ Steve Aoki @ Volar
 This Saturday DJ Steve Aoki Kid Millionaire will be spinning a special set at Volar. Aoki is one of the most sought after DJs in the U.S. for both his skills behind the decks and his reputation as "the music tastemaker by those in the know." With weekly residencies in both NY and LA, Aoki is also the man behind one of the most respected indie labels in U.S., Dim Mak (home to Bloc Party, The Rakes, Moving Units, the Kills etc.). This weeks' joke was submitted by my Mom. Thanks Mom.
This guy arrives at the Pearly Gates. He has to wait to be admitted, while St. Pete leafs through his Big Book. He's checking to see if the guy is worthy of entry or not. Saint Peter goes through the books several times, furrows his brow, and says to the guy, 'You know, I can't see that you did lots of good in your life but, you never did anything bad either. Tell you what, if you can tell me of one REALLY good deed that you did in your life, you're in.' The guy thinks for a moment and says, 'Well, there was this one time when I was drivin' down the highway and I saw a Biker Gang assaulting this poor girl. I slowed down my car to see what was going on, and sure enough, that's what they were doing. There were about 50 of 'em torturing this chick. Infuriated, I got out my car, grabbed a tire iron from my trunk and walked straight up to the leader of the gang. He was a huge guy with a studded leather jacket and a chain running from his nose to his ear. As I walked up to the leader, the Gang formed a circle all around me. So I ripped the leader's chain off his face and smashed him over the head with the tire iron. Then I turned around and yelled to the rest of them, 'Leave this poor, innocent girl alone, you slime! You're all a bunch of sick, deranged animals! Go home before I teach you all a lesson in pain!'' St. Peter, extremely impressed, says, 'Really? Wow, when did all this happen?' 'Uhm... about two minutes ago.'
