Dear Reader,
One night in Iceland... I was just finishing up a photo shoot as dusk began to set. My watch read 11:00 PM. I hiked back to our Lightroom Adventure headquarters to greet other photographers as they wandered into the workroom. Everyone had been in the field all day and now the second shift would begin.
We would remove our filled-to-capacity memory cards and upload the imagery into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. For the next few hours we spent our time sorting, editing, and printing. Most nights we only slept an hour or two.
I'm sharing this anecdote because the book that captures our collective effort and combines the magic of Iceland with the power of Lightroom is now available: Photoshop Lightroom Adventure. You can sample a taste for yourself with this month's featured PDF download, The Develop Module Revealed.
If you love photography and are interested in learning more about Lightroom, I recommend you explore this work published by O'Reilly Media.
Until Next Time,

Weblogs:My Favorite (simple) LR Keyboard Commands
Mikkel Aaland, July 19, 2007
Mikkel Aaland writes: "I’m visually oriented. Give me a well-designed UI and I’m happy. I have a limited memory for keyboard shortcuts. One keystroke is ok. Two is pushing it. Three or more… forget it. I especially like keyboard commands that follow some logic. Like “T” for toolbar. Maybe I’m getting old, but my brain is filling up and it takes a while for keyboard commands to stick. After using Lightroom for quite some time now, here are a few keyboard commands that have finally stuck."
