Swallowed
Today, massive swaths of western England are under water. More than 400,000 people are without drinking water, and 50,000 without electricity. It's an extraordinary sight to see, as whole communities have been reduced to islands in the worst flooding in 60 years. And there are serious consequences at stake. In the next few hours, we will see major developments -- including whether emergency workers, working frantically, will be able to salvage a major power station. If it fails, a quarter-million people may lose power and running water for up to a week. ABC's Nick Watt reports.
The YouTube Debate
The Democratic presidential candidates took to the podiums once again tonight -- but this time, on CNN, and this time, with a twist. All of the questions the contenders faced were in the form of videos. Thousands of people submitted potential questions through the video Web site YouTube. So, was it harder for the politicians to dodge the questions when asked by voters, and not by members of the media? It's just the latest way that YouTube is changing the face of politics. ABC's Senior Political Correspondent Jake Tapper reports.
