VegDC.com’s “Best Vegetarian Restaurant” Contest Winners Announced!
In recognition of its mouth-watering meatless cuisine, VegDC.com voters have chosen Java Green as the overall “Best Vegetarian Restaurant” in the Washington, D.C.-Metro area. “Three Green Stars” awards are also being dished out to The Vegetable Garden in Rockville, Md. and Sunflower Vegetarian Restaurant in Vienna, Va.—both restaurants were selected by VegDC.com voters as “Best Vegetarian Restaurant” in Md. and Va., respectively. Back in Stock: COK’s Pig Industry Flyers
Back by popular demand—and just in time for National Veggie Hot Dog Day—we reprinted our flyers exposing the horrors endured by pigs raised for food on today’s factory farms. The flyer further encourages people to choose compassion at every meal. There’s still time to get involved with National Veggie Hot Dog Day on July 18! Even if you have only 30 minutes to spare, you can help spread the animals’ message by distributing this flyer. Learn more and order your free flyers today! Reminder: Register Today for Upcoming Conferences! If you’re looking to improve or enhance your skills to help animals, Animal Rights 2007 and Taking Action for Animals offer great opportunities to share knowledge, network with others, and learn from some of the movement’s most dynamic leaders. |
