A fabulous new direction in chipboard. I'm going to show you some simple techniques using your existing scrapping and stamping stash to bring out the full glory of this product.
Large Blue Flower

This chipboard piece has a lot of detail in the embossing. You will lose some of the detail after applying paint so it's a good idea to go over the embossing detail with a stylus or pointed plastic rub-on tool before you start painting.
Apply a coat of paint to the chipboard. I've used Making Memories Daiquiri. When dry, apply Antique Crackle Medium following the directions on the bottle. I've used Helmar Antique Crackle which has two steps. Antique Crackle is different to the regular paint crackle medium which uses contrasting paint colours. In this case, the medium itself crackles, not the paint.
When the crackle medium is dry, swipe over some paint or ink and wipe off the excess with a soft tissue or cloth. The colour will remain in the cracks and highlight the crackle, giving an aged appearance.
Using an ink pen, follow the pattern of the embossing to highlight the shaping of the flower.
Lastly, glue on some beads to form the centre of the flower. You can use a pencil pressed into the hole in the beads to pick them up. I have a problem using the pencil as the beads often fall off the end of the lead. I find a pair of fine tweezers gives me greater control when placing beads on a layout.
Flying Bird

Using an ink pen, follow the pattern of the embossing to highlight the shaping of the bird.
Colour the patches in the body of the bird with colouring in pencils. I've used watercolour pencils.
Swipe the entire surface lightly with ink to highlight the raised areas then ink around the entire edge of the chipboard piece.
Glue on a blue bead for the eye.
Small Flowers

Use colouring in pencils and inks to colour the small flowers. I've used a rub-on on the small blue flower and added a bead for the centre.
Pink Tag

The embossed tag is a generous size and beautifully embossed making it the perfect embellishment.
Coat the tag with paint. I've used Making Memories Capri. Once dry, swipe the tag with a contrasting coloured ink to highlight the raised portions of the embossing. Allow to dry.
Add some "ageing" streaks by lightly swiping a dark coloured ink in long, smooth swipes. After allowing to dry, swipe the entire tag with white ink to soften the colours.
