Just a quick note:

You know I love doing cool giveaways, particularly with all three Vampyricon novels hitting the bookshelves this fall -- including The Queen of Wolves. Wait'll you read it -- you may have thought you knew where The Vampyricon was headed, but you have no idea!

Well, as long as supplies last:

• Want to get a special autographed Vampyricon Collector's Card and a Queen of Wolves Magnet?

Just mail a self-addressed stamped letter-sized regular envelope (check your postage to make sure it can come back to you -- U.S. postage only!) to:

Be sure you stamp that envelope with sufficient U.S. postage (if you're in another country, your country's postage will not get it back to you -- you must somehow get U.S. postage.)

•  If you ever want to get your books signed and inscribed (no ARCs or bound galleys, just the regular editions), just mail them to that address above with a self-addressed stamped (with full return postage) package, and make sure you include bubble wrap or other protection for your books that you send. If it's a hardcover, remove the dustjacket first before sending -- this often gets damaged in the mail.

Include a note as to how you'd like the book inscribed to you or to someone else. Be sure to include your email address, too, in case there's a problem or so I can let you know that the books are on their way back to you. Do not send checks, and do your best not to send a return package that is going to fall apart before you get it. You're responsible for how it gets back to you.

I'm happy to do this for you -- I hope you collect and read all my novels.

• In July, I'll start doing monthly giveaways of The Queen of Wolves (to be mailed out after the book is published) picked at random here on the newsletter.

• And don't forget to start writing that theme song for one of the Vampyricon titles! Even if you don't win the Grand Prize (3k!) you might win 2nd or 3rd place, or just have a lot of fun doing this.
