Call for Entries FINAL DEADLINE EXTENDED to June 22, 2007

The ida Awards Competition is the foremost genre-specific event dedicated to the documentary film. The Distinguished Feature and Short winners will be announced at the ida Awards Gala at the Directors Guild of America Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, December 7th, 2007 and screened on December 8th, 2007 at ida's annual DocuFest? along with the other winning films at the Eastman Kodak Company Screening Room.

New Award! ida/Alan Ett Music Documentary Award An award given to a filmmaker for an outstanding documentary about music — and or illustrating exemplary creativity for the use of music in a documentary. Documentary must be an individual stand-alone short or feature. The entry must have all rights cleared. The award goes to ONE recipient: the credited individual who exercised creative control. Prize: $5000
