In the past 3 weeks in my practice I have seen a significant number of people with poison ivy, or rhus dermatitis. Most of these people have a rash that lasts for 2-3 weeks, and they don't expect that poison ivy should last that long. Unfortunately that length is the norm. This week we'll take a closer look at poison ivy and the good old stand-by treament - topical steroids.
