2007 Bimmerfest Photo Gallery

It may be a little early but 009 posted the first previews of the 2010 BMW 5 Series, and have to say we like it! Of course that far out the driveline would be pure speculation, but that didn’t stop our readers from giving their 2 cents worth.
Audi’s newest advertisements are taking a bit of the news spotlight this week. Audi innocently announced earlier in the week that the focus of their news ads would be on technology that actually works. The first in the campaign was a tongue in cheek shot at the highly touted Lexus self park feature. It looks like a few of you didn’t take that too kindly, and 001 even asked if the tongue in cheek ads were going to backfire. Keep tuned because we don’t think the salvo of ads will stop anytime soon.
BMW rose to the occasion in 2007, by taking no less than seven Engine of The Year Awards over triple the amount of any other competitor. VW and Toyota both snagged a few of the awards but BMW ultimately stole the show with it’s engineering prowess.
AMG and BMW can bicker all they want on who is the high performance king. But all of thistestosterone laden uber-banter may be for naught if the Nissan GT-R 7:15 Nurburgring test lap times are any indication of this prototype’s full potential. You heard it here first this car is going to be a nightmare for the Germans.
What if the new Lexus LS460 came as a coupe. An enterprising reader submitted to us an exclusive look at what that model may look like. Now that is one sweet ride, may need to consider.
