Escape from IE7, Revisited

Your answer to Ron Palumbo's inquiry about uninstalling Internet Explorer 7 has me hanging in midair. I, too, would like to try IE7 and be able to revert back to IE6 if necessary. Can I still use the uninstall tool mentioned in the article even if I do not have the same beta version described? If I do completely uninstall IE7, can I download IE6 from the Web to reinstall it?
