The Microsoft Office Project Business Unit is pleased to announce that we have rolled out 2 new courses focused on Project Portfolio Server 2007. These courses are now available on EPM University. Both courses are open to partners and customers, and are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to implement Project Portfolio Server 2007.

Project Portfolio Server 2007 helps organizations realize their potential by identifying, selecting, managing, and delivering portfolios that align with strategic priorities. Project Portfolio Server 2007 is a key component of the Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution and helps ensure that organizations gain visibility, insight, and control across projects, programs, and application portfolios.
NEW - Architecting EPM (Project Portfolio Server 2007 Focus)
This course was designed to provide the business architect with the required knowledge to gather data and successfully configure and deploy Project Portfolio Server 2007. This instructor-led online workshop includes an overview of Project Portfolio Server 2007 and outlines best practices for gathering, documenting, and communicating the business requirements for each component of the tool (such as business drivers, governance workflow, business case templates, and more). This course helps to ensure that you capture the data you need in order to successfully configure Project Portfolio Server 2007.

NEW - Implementing EPM (Project Portfolio Server 2007 Focus)
This course was designed for the individual that is responsible for configuring, deploying, and managing Project Portfolio Server 2007. This online instructor-led, hands-on learning environment provides the technical guidance, knowledge, and understanding for how to successfully deploy Project Portfolio Sever 2007. Concepts and topics include system installation, security, management, defining governance workflows, developing standardized business case templates, utilizing the Portfolio Optimizer, and integrating with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint® Services 3.0.
