An interesting viral marketing concept
Greets all!
I just bumped into an interesting viral marketing concept by Jon Leger and
Alok Jain, of $7 Secrets and Silent Profit Machine fame respectively.
It more or less goes as follows:
a) Joe creates a page to promote something (his or someone else's)
b) Jack sends his list to Joe's page
From then on, when it comes to Jack's referrals:
c) Jack gets a cut from whatever Joe is promoting on his page
e) Jack gets a cut from whatever else Joe promotes now or later
If you take the concept a step further:
a) Joe creates an ebook with an affiliate link (or more)
b) Jack sends his list to a page on Joe's site where visitors sign up to get
it for free
And from then on, when it comes to Jack's referrals:
c) Jack gets a cut from whatever Joe promotes in his ebook
d) Jack gets a cut from whatever else Joe promotes now or later
Using a standard affiliate scheme, Jack's better interest would arguably be
to promote whatever Joe promotes directly. The key ideas are thus now or
later, on everything and anything. Which, obviously, this can only work if
some kind of meta affiliate program splits the traffic between affiliate
IDs.
Jon and Alok packaged such a tool alongside a WordPress plugin. It works
with clickbank and paydotcom. So if you sell or promote stuff on either,
head straight to:

Virally yours,
