7-8pm -- Murder, She Wrote - The Last Flight of the Dixie Damsel.
An Air Force cargo p***, ditched during a blizzard in 1952 but
preserved in an Alaskan ice field, is the scene of a crime that an
inquiry team thinks Jessica's dead husband, Captain Fletcher, may have
committed. Angela Lansbury stars with Richard Roundtree, Efrem
Zimbalist Jr., Dale Robertson, Michael Ansara, and Jane Greer.
8-9pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Ted Bundy.
He was the dapper, charming monster who confessed to killing 28 women
during a 4-year reign of terror and may have killed as many as 100
before he was jailed and executed. Who was Ted Bundy? How was his
serial killer personality formed? And how did he keep his violent
nature hidden? We interview prosecutors, detectives, psychiatrists,
forensic scientists, and Bundy's neighbors and classmates to seek
answers.
9-10pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - 39 - Boston: Betrayal in Beantown
The shocking story that tore Boston apart racially when police were
fooled into believing that a black man had killed Carol Stewart, a
pregnant white woman. It took days for the city to discover the
horrible truth: Carol's husband, Charles, shot her and then called 911
to claim that an African-American car-jacker had committed the crime.
Narrated by Paul Winfield.
10-11pm -- Crime Stories - The Conservative Killer.
In 1983 the ex-wife of Canadian Cabinet Minister Colin Thatcher is
found brutally murdered in her garage. Police have their suspect, but
pointing the finger at powerful politician Colin Thatcher is dangerous
business. Through intense interrogations and a brilliant sting
operation, police gather the evidence they need to shake the halls of
power and bring the killer to justice.

unforgettable performances in A Streetcar Named Desire and On the
Waterfront; his comeback in The Godfather; his snubbing of the Academy
Awards; the obesity and bad movie choices that plagued his later life;
and the tragedies of his first son's murder conviction and his

7-8pm -- Crime Stories - The House Hermit
In 1992, in the middle of the night, a young Vancouver woman is tied
to a tree and sexually assaulted for nine straight days just yards
away from the busiest highway in Canada. Ontario police are on the
scene of a sadistic murder. Before long, police in two provinces are
searching for one of Canada's most notorious fugitives--a psycho on
the loose. Then, a wealthy Ontario realtor and his wife are found
murdered in the trunk of their car. Behind it all, a reclusive loner
named David Snow. Snow's passion for antiques is so intense that it
sends him down a violent path from which there is no turning back.
8-9pm -- The Unexplained - Amityville: The Haunting.
November 13, 1974. The idyllic Long Island town of Amityville sleeps
peacefully. At about 3:15 a.m., using a high-powered hunting rifle,
23-year-old Ronald DeFeo Jr., systematically murders his entire family
in their beds. Troubling questions surrounding the murders remain.
Thirteen months later, the house's new owners claim to be terrorized
and driven out by evil spirits. What is the story behind the real
incident that inspired one of the most popular horror books and films
of our time?
9-9:30pm -- Psychic Investigators - Southern Organs.
A dedicated psychic puts his reputation on the line to track down two
con men in Scotland. Two men, Miller and Bellord, disappear after a
massive fraud scandal comes to light involving the financing of church
organs. A journalist, Norman Luck, who's covering the case, brings in
psychic Robert Cracknell. The psychic is convinced the couple is
hiding on an island off Scotland's west coast and someone close-by is
their accomplice. Police investigate but hit a wall. Fearing his
reputation is on the line, Cracknell heads for Scotland to search for
the missing men. He stumbles upon a couple of witnesses who claim
they've seen the missing pair. Then, a dream of a cave makes Cracknell
believe that Miller and Bellord are camping out in one of the ancient
stone dwellings dotting Scotland's coast. Eight months after the men's
disappearance, the man Cracknell suspected of being their collaborator
confesses everything. And the real story proves to be his
vindication...
9:30-10pm -- Psychic Investigators - Mark Green
Mark Green disappears one night without a trace. Diane Lazarus, a
psychic in a nearby town, is holding a reading but the session is
interrupted by a vision of a young man. One of the participants
quickly realizes it's her missing nephew Mark. Diane shares what Mark
tells her: he was attacked, hit on the back of the head, dismembered,
and buried under water. Diane also says a television show will lead to
the crime's resolution. Detective Marcella Daly meanwhile is searching
for clues but finds nothing. When she hears about Diane's visions, the
two women meet and attempt to uncover evidence that could lead to the
killer. When Mark's parents are approached to appear on a television
program, they accept--recalling Diane's prediction. Following the
broadcast, the case blows open and a man confesses to helping his
brother dispose of Mark's dismembered body. The brothers are arrested
and put away for Mark's murder.
10-11pm -- Enigma - Exorcising the Devil
Belief in evil spirits spans time and crosses centuries, and just as
old and universal is the cure for possession. In Catholicism, exorcism
dates back to Christ's expulsions of the devil. The "Roman Ritual"
dating from 1614 remained unchanged until 1999. Witness actual
exorcisms, and learn why they are now increasing.

Murder and intrigue result when the heir to a large fortune, who has
been missing for 20 years, suddenly surfaces. Angela Lansbury stars

8-9pm -- BIOGRAPHY(r) - Meat Loaf
A profile of the larger-than-life actor and singer. Born Marvin Lee
Aday outside Dallas Texas, in 1947, he was dubbed Meat by his dad when
he was just three. Getting hooked on performing while in high school,
his love for entertaining took him to Los Angeles, but Meat's career
didn't take off until he partnered with songwriter Jim Steinman.
Though rejected by most major record labels, 1977's Bat Out of Hell
wound up becoming one of the biggest selling albums of all time. Fame
took its toll on Meat, as he struggled with addictions and bankruptcy.
By the mid-80s, he had to rebuild his career from scratch, and did so
when in 1993 he earned a best vocal Grammy for the single I'd Do
Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That).
9-11pm -- Illuminating Angels & Demons -
Dan Brown's novel, Angels & Demons, describes an ancient cult called
the Illuminati that is at work in the modern world and plotting
against the Catholic Church. Based on Simon Cox's book, Illuminating
Angels & Demons, this fascinating two-hour documentary explores the
question of whether the Illuminati still exists. This is also a
visually stunning travelogue that guides viewers through the ancient
streets and artwork of Rome in its quest to find the facts behind
Brown's fiction.

A woman of passion, resilience, and amazing success, the new co-host

One of the top female box-office draws in Hollywood, Cameron Diaz grew
up as a tomboy in Long Beach, California. She left home at 16 and for
the next five years lived in such varied locales as Japan, Australia,
Mexico, Morocco, and Paris. Returning to California at the age of 21,
she was working as a model when she auditioned for a big part in The
Mask opposite Jim Carrey. To her amazement and despite having no
previous acting experience, she was cast as the female lead. Since
then, Cameron has launched a successful movie career that has made her
one of the highest paid actresses in show business.

A review of the diabolical plots of Patricia Allanson, nee Taylor, a
southern belle who encouraged her husband to kill his parents, served
time for attempting to murder his grandparents, then after parole,
opened a private nursing care service and tried to kill two clients.
Once again free on parole, some fear she will strike again.
10-11pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL(r) - 18 - Virginia City: Showdown at the
Mustang Ranch
In the heart of Nevada's silver country lies America's most infamous

alcohol and drug abuse was taking their toll and at 67, with a broken

innocence. At the same time, new evidence is discovered which ties
Keith even closer to the crime. In this documentary series chronicling

viewers behind the scenes to reveal what occurred, introduce the

Looks at the influence and power of love. Family members in a life or
death situation discover the desire to save a loved one stronger than
the grip of death when a husband and wife and father and son survive
despite tremendous odds.
9-9:30pm -- Psychic Investigators - Rachel Domas
Can a veteran psychic and a rookie cop crack the case of a missing
14-year-old girl? Rachel Domas misses her school bus and psychic Nancy
Weber becomes involved in the case when a family friend contacts her.
Immediately, the visions appear: the pungent smell of cars and oil and
the name Michael. Meanwhile, rookie cop Gary Micco and colleague
George Deuchar have a suspect named Michael in custody; but the
detectives are forced to release him because of the lack of evidence
of a crime. Weber and Micco connect via a mutual acquaintance and
Weber shares what she knows with the detective. When Rachel's body is
found buried in the woods, just as Weber described, Micco visits Weber
again. She assures him the killer will soon be captured--he's in the
woods in an agitated state, near two huge oil drums. Moments later,
the killer is captured. When Micco gets to the scene, it's exactly as
Weber had described it. The seasoned psychic and the green cop have
cracked the case in record time.
9:30-10pm -- Psychic Investigators - Lynsey Quy
When Lynsey Quy mysteriously vanishes on Christmas Day, her husband
reports her missing. Psychic Joe Power has a nightmarish vision of a
woman brutally murdered, and convinced it's Lynsey seeking help, he
takes his information to the police, who don't follow through.
Frustrated, Joe follows clues from his vision--images of the gruesome
murder, a fairground, tractors, and a railroad track--to a beach
community where Lynsey resided with her husband Mitchell and their two
children. Meanwhile, a new detective takes over the case and brings
Mitchell in for questioning. A little digging proves that things
weren't as rosy as Mitchell initially stated. Eventually, he cracks
and confesses to slaying his young wife. When Lynsey's remains are
recovered, they're found in the exact locations Joe had previously
visited. Lynsey's death devastated her family. Her brother committed
suicide and her father blames Mitchell for the loss of his two
children.
10-11pm -- Enigma - The Strange Case of Lizzie Borden.
"Lizzie Borden took an ax, and gave her mother 40 whacks; when she saw
what she had done, she gave her father 41." Most of us know the grisly
rhyme, but not the whole story. Who was Lizzie Borden? Did she really
murder her father and stepmother on that muggy morning in August 1892?
Or does she stand wrongly accused?

A special 2-hour look at the lives of presidents' children, from the
days of George Washington right down to George W. Bush. Luci Johnson
reveals how she cut a deal with the press to preserve her privacy,
Steve Ford talks about his White House pranks, and Michael Reagan
describes how he was excluded from the family. Among other first kids
highlighted are JKF Jr. and Amy Carter, and AP White House
Correspondent Helen Thomas defends the media's right to report on the
lives of the First Family.
