Thai cooking school

crispy pork

Crispy Pork

Ingredients
Quantity
pork belly
1/2 kilo
chili oyster sauce
1 tbsp
light soy sauce
3 tbsp
rice vinegar or lime juice
2 tbsp
crispy cooking flour
1/3 cup
soy bean or other cooking oil
3 cups

Preparation

1) Clean the pork well and boil until very soft.
2) Using a fork make lots of holes in the skin of the pork.
3) In a mixing bowl combine the soy sauce, salt, oyster sauce, and vinegar. Add the pork and mix well.
4) Let marinate at least one hour. Remove and coat lightly with crispy flour.
5) Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the pork carefully and cook until the skin is crispy. Drain well.
