Winston Churchill's Words

Winston Churchill made many significant speeches in his lifetime, most of
which have become well-known because of their unique timing in History and
oratory power. While all of Churchill's public addresses are filled with
oft quoted passages, one of his most renowned speeches was given in March
of 1946 and has become known simply as the "Iron Curtain" speech.

The Churchill Speech Interactive website is a great educational resource
that allows users to deeply explore one of Churchill's most memorable
orations, delivered in Fulton, Missouri less than a year after the end of
World War II. Listen to a recording of the original "Iron Curtain"
address, read Churchill's speech notes, and learn more about the life of
this legendary figure.
