Laptops that Mean Business
Today's business laptops offer the same—or better—features as a powerful desktop, with mobility to boot. The ability to telecommute or work remotely is vital to commerce today. But there's a lot to choose from, between desktop replacements, ultraportables, tablet PCs, budget systems, and rugged laptops. Which one best fits your work life? Find out in our online buying guide.

Samsung's Challenge to the iPod nano
There's a new flashy flash player in town: the Samsung YP-T9J. It's a bit cheaper than the super-popular iPod nano, plus it offers more features including basic video capabilties, photo storage, an FM tuner, and a voice recorder. Read our in-depth review at PCMag.com to see if nano owners should have buyer's remorse.

Multifunction to the Max
All-In-One printers fulfill a variety of functions--that's their point. But the HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One really pulls out all the stops, acting as a full-featured photo lab with various scanning and faxing options. Check out this system's copious features in our review at PCMag.com.

An OS in the Hand
Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft's new handheld OS, eschews big UI changes for many smaller feature improvements. It's more of an honorable version 5.5 than a true 6—an accumulation of new, useful features that doesn't disturb the OS's underpinnings or solve some of its deeper problems, but is enough for it to retain an Editors' Choice. For a closer look, see our review at PCMag.com.

Best Buy to Carry Lenovo Laptops
Lenovo has reached an agreement with Best Buy to sell selected laptops to small-business customers. The Thinkpad T60 Widescreen and Lenovo 3000 N100 systems will be available at more than 300 Best Buy For Business retail outlets this month. This expands on an earlier agreement in which customers could order Lenovo PCs through a Best Buy For Business telesales team or the retailer's Web site, but not purchase or test them in the stores. For more on this deal, read our story at PCMag.com.

Panda's NanoScan Streamlines Antivirus, Antispyware Scanning
A typical antivirus or antispyware product installs a driver, a scanning engine, and a signature database on your computer. These, plus heuristics, behavior analysis, firewall functions, and more can put a real strain on your PC. As you put more and more software on your system to protect it, there's less CPU or memory left for you. Panda's NanoScan seeks to reverse this trend. Read more at PCMag.com.

Japanese Pop Culture iPod Skins
Tokidoki has introduced a line of colorful and fashionable iPod skins featuring a variety of designs based on anime and other Japanese cartoon styles. The iSkin Vibes range in price from $14.99 for the first-generation iPod Shuffle to $29.99 for the 30GB iPod. Their only annoyance: the skin extends over the iPod's click-wheel, making it harder to scroll for and control your music. Read more at Gearlog.com.
