Dear
Reader
When I'm in the final week or three of a novel,
it's like I'm living in a dark cave in my head. I revise, revise,
clean up, rewrite, cut, destroy, include, rediscover...and somewhere
in there, the novel becomes alive for me. And, I hope, for you.
The third and final novel of The Vampyricon
Trilogy has been kicking my (insert favorite body part that feels
kicked), and I've loved every minute of it. For those of you who have
read The Priest of Blood and The Lady of Serpents, I
think you'll really enjoy The Queen of Wolves as Aleric,
Falconer, raises armies of the undead, and brings the war of the
damned into the arena of life.
But alas, this also means I'm delaying "A
Christmas Ghost Story" for at least another week. But it will come to
a close soon.
To get some signed books, be sure to check
these auctions now. One of them looks like it'll end really low, so
you can get a bargain -- and I'll inscribe the book to you if you
like.
First, this auction looks good.
And then, this one.
And be sure to check that "Got Screensaver?"
area to the left for a freebie or two that you might have missed,
particularly if you're new to the newsletter.
Did I mention that my novel of Mordred is out
in trade paperback now? I probably did, but you know when you live in
your brain cave long enough, you forget that a new, less expensive
edition of a book is out there.
I also put a new note up about The Vampyricon

Thank you --
